The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of Eldergrow’s various Therapeutic Horticulture Garden (THG) Program, including Customers, Eldergrow Educators, and Therapy Gardens. Also, support our Do-it-yourself and Nature Portal programs.

Location: Mostly remote with occasional work at senior living community partners
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Customer Experience:
- Provide exceptional Customer Service and monthly customer training.
- Nurture existing relationships by sharing new resources.
- Create monthly presentations, check-ins, and develop relationships with community contacts.
- Educator Support: Provide exceptional service to our Educators by providing appropriate support and tools, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Educator Retention: Preserve Educators through applicable training and consistent, solution-oriented communication.
- Facilitate monthly Customer virtual calls.
- Collaborate with the Eldergrow team to provide excellent customer and Educator support.
- Ensure partners receive monthly resource emails.
- Present recommendations for excellent programming and customer experience.
- Manage garden maintenance through Educator and customer coaching.
- Ensure follow-up with customers and Eldergrow Educators.
- Portal Analytics and Portal login creation/assistance.
- Manage Educator support Inbox.
Manage Therapeutic Horticulture Gardens Program:
- Support THG Curriculum: Coordinate with the Curriculum team on lessons and quarterly Curriculum Development. Manage activity lesson access.
- Garden Maintenance: Manage garden health and overall appearance through Educator training. Ensure only safe, non-toxic plants are used.
- Educator & Class Supplies: Collaborate with Inventory Specialist and Curriculum Trainer to ensure supplies are in stock, at best value, and shipped to new Educators. Help ensure approved plants are used.
- Acting Eldergrow Educator: Act as occasional substitute Educator to cover unassigned communities.
Manage Contracted Educators:
- Support the recruitment process as needed.
- Oversee new Eldergrow Educator Onboarding.
- Support office team to request, collect, and file New Eldergrow Educator paperwork (W9, Background Check, Proof of insurance, Contractor Agreement).
- Oversee Educator Training.
- Introduce Educators to community contacts.
- Provide ongoing support to Educators and nurture Educators for retention via inbox, internal Facebook page, Educator Meetings and other streamlined communications.
- Support Educator needs, training trends, and garden award oversight.
- Manage class calendar.
- Track services provided for invoicing and payment.
- Quality Control.
- Further Develop Processes & Tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
