We are currently hiring for the 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm and 11:00 pm - 7:00 am shifts.
The Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) is a direct route into CNA Training at Elderwood. Apply to our Nurse Aide Training Program and be slotted into the next available Nurse Aide Training Class to become a CNA - next class scheduled to begin on 4/3/23. Classroom training will be for three weeks, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Those who complete the training and obtain their CNA certification will be eligible for a sign-on bonus - $5000 for new full-time CNAs, $2500 for part-time.
Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) Overview:
- Elderwood's CNA Training course will last for three weeks, Monday to Friday from 8a-4p (times may vary slightly).
- Once in the course - the first two weeks are classroom training; third week will be the clinical portion.
- Once you pass, your status (and pay) will be adjusted from CNA Training Track to CNA ($15.50/hour, ask about our pay-in-lieu of benefits option. Increased hourly rates for those opting out of certain benefits.)
- Elderwood will pay for the CNA certification test as well as any applicable onboarding requirements, including but not limited to PPD and Physical for eligible candidates.
- Training is PAID - you will be clocked in during training hours and get paid while you train.

(CNA - Nurse Aide Training Program):
Nursing Assistant Training Program team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by participating as a student in a Nursing Assistant 100-Hour Training Program and completing certification within 120 hours of training start date.

(CNA - Nurse Aide Training Program):
- Seventeen (17)years of age required.
- Successful completion of program required entrance testing and application process.No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agency.
- Elderwood expects all current and new employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If hired, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination. Employees may request a medical exemption from vaccination.
