Summary:
Assembly Technicians will primarily be responsible for building assemblies that vary from single lead repair parts to complex wire harnesses. Technicians will be trained and expected to use small tools and machines to complete various tasks. These tools and machines are to be utilized to manufacture and produce various products of superior quality. Work order size and training level will determine how much of, and what parts of a work order the technician will complete.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have a positive attitude, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.Actively participate in all required training when scheduled to do so. Must be able to use small tools and machines: wire braiders, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, calipers, micrometers, etc.Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or work instructions to perform required tasks to complete a portion of, or entire assembly. Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures including but not limited to; First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking. Maintain work area compliance to all Standards including but not limited to; all required materials are to be labeled and properly stored; each work area used must be cleaned after use; all tools are to be put away when not in use; Work Order packets are to remain with their corresponding jobs with all documents accounted for. Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipmentsCompleting checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production
Education and Experience:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment:
This factory is located indoors in a clean, well lit, climate-controlled facility. The noise level is low to moderate. During certain jobs employees are permitted to use a personal headphone in one ear. Certain jobs may be able to be performed while sitting.

Education and Experience:
- Entry Level Position
- No experience required
- No Degree Required
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to do basic arithmetic like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and decimals.
- Must be able to use a tape measure.
- Must be able to understand Metric and US Customary units of measurement
- Must be able to distinguish between colors of wire
