Element6's client in the HVAC wholesale industry is looking for a Systems Analyst - Technology to join their team. The Systems Analyst will play a vital role in managing and supporting a range of Third-Party IT Applications, including integrations with the company's ERP system (Epicor P21). Key responsibilities include coordinating support requests, training, and project-based tasks essential for application maintenance. The role offers some flexibility of remote work, provided all responsibilities are consistently met.
Primary Responsibilities:
Gain a comprehensive understanding of all user -facing business applications within the organization.
Proactively troubleshoot IT system issues and provide end-user support.
Manage user security setup and maintenance within organizational applications, adhering to IT Management standards.
Oversee Microsoft SQL Server maintenance, including database design and ensuring robust DB security for third-party applications.
Observe end-user processes, document requirements, and suggest improvements using appropriate companion products or new software solutions.
Design, analyze, code, test, debug, modify, and document complex applications, ensuring they meet business needs.
Continually evaluate and implement IT solutions to align with organizational goals and evolving business requirements.
Optimize and maintain existing applications and infrastructure, including regular maintenance, custom development, and coordination of test plans and upgrades.
Create, organize, and maintain IT departmental documentation for supported applications, contributing to an internal Knowledge Base.
Support the Learning and Development team with the production of end user training materials for owned applications.
Develop an understanding of all key business functions, e.g. finance, warehousing, inventory management, etc., as they related to owned applications.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Familiar with processes related to Mergers & Acquisitions, especially integrating systems and users into the company's IT framework.
Technical and functional expertise in ERP systems (preferably P21) and with an understanding of integration with other products is preferred.
Practical knowledge of T-SQL, C#, CSS, HTML, and other web frontend languages is preferred.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates or University degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems and minimum 3 years related IT work experience.
Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, applications, and standards.
