What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager in Food Manufacturing position at Elements Truffles?
We at Elements Truffles make clean chocolates. We are looking for someone reliable who enjoys working in a kitchen environment. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Managing overall kitchen and fulfillment operations.
We make everything in-house and we also ship from our location. Ideal candidate is a self starter who oversees this entire end to end process of manufacturing and shipping. While you will have a staffed in each of the areas of work, the ideal candidate will not mind rolling up their sleeves and work closely with the team members.
- Reporting:
The candidate will report directly to the owners of the company. He/She will be the bridge between kitchen shipping staff and owners.
- Responsibilities in kitchen:
The manager has to be on top of production schedules, inventory management and making sure we don't run out of products. As a growing startup, there is always a triage that one has to perform. The person has to be nimble and think quick on feet and keep the show running.
- What is important:
First of all, no prior experience or training is required. All you need is the right attitude. We need the kitchen to be tidy, packages to leave on time and inventory to be full.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
