Business Analyst III

Location: This is position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 0-3 days a month). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint location.

The Business Analyst III is responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
• Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
• Work with BCBSA BlueSquared software to create Control Plan Profiles and acknowledge Profiles as a Host Plan
• Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
• Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
• May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities

• Basic knowledge of BCBSA InterPlan processes is highly preferred.
• Familiar with ITS BlueSquared software is strongly preferred.
• Basic excel and Access database knowledge preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills is preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $68,080 to $122,544.
