Description
The Elevance Ventures team is looking for an experienced leader to join our commercialization team. You will work with internal business leaders to identify, scope, and implement joint ventures, partnerships, and minority investment driven initiatives across all areas of Elevance’s business that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Deal/project evaluation
- Ensure activities are aligned with corporate strategy. Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data.
- Assist with or build detailed financial models, fully understand key financial levers, and identify risks to achieving financial goals
- Ensure systems and processes are in place to support all elements of the deal/project
- Identify key operational risks and ensure appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place to address them
- Deal/project execution
- Actively engage in implementation activities to ensure plans are executed, key milestones are achieved, and any changes in plans are reflected in financial and operational models
- Problem solve solutions to ensure deals/projects stay on track and achieve business objectives
- Escalate issues as needed to ensure appropriate leadership engagement from both internal and external partners
- Deal/project monitoring
- Ensure appropriate governance and accountability systems are in place to track and monitor ongoing performance
- Provide process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support
- Maintain ongoing engagement with internal and external business leaders as needed to understand performance against goals/plan and to identify additional opportunities within or outside of Elevance to drive additional growth
Minimum qualifications:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of financial models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.
- Masters degree preferred.
