Role of a Sales Account Rep (Open Enrollment Consultant) is to conduct on-site or virtual Open Enrollment Events for our National Accounts as well as our Local Large Group Accounts clients.

Position Overview:

• Sales Account Rep is expected to participate in client specific strategy calls with the Account Managers (AM’s) or Service Account Reps (SAR’s).
• Assist and provide support for many events and critical client facing Open Enrollment meetings.
• Sales Account Rep’s role while at client site is to communicate client’s Open Enrollment strategy to their employees via presentations, fairs and Q&A sessions, handling employee’s questions and providing feedback to Anthem’s AM’s and SAR’s.
• Increase sales leads during open enrollment events when FTE staff is unavailable to attend.

Requirements:

• Human Resources or insurance sales or individuals may have 3 years prior experience.
• Current Life & Health insurance license in resident state is required.
• College degree is preferred but not required.
• An in-depth knowledge of health & specialty plans offered through Anthem is required to facilitate these meetings.
• Position requires at least 5 years prior experience in benefits,
• Excellent verbal communication interpersonal and presentation skills required.
• Bilingual is preferred, but not required.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: As needed (flexible)
• Will not work consistent hours, often only a few days every few months
• Often requested on short notice but hours are few and far between.
• Remote
• Some travel to client locations.
• Reimbursement is provided
