Description
Project Director: Responsible for identifying key people to bring about change and develops a network of contacts and targets specific people to achieve project goals and objectives within the Enterprise Analytics Hub. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manages projects across business units, regions or the enterprise; influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction.
- Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology.
- Determines project scope; develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops training plans; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products; coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms.
- Develops requirements documents; develops project approval matrix; identifies project team training and tool needs; defines quality gates for each project methodology phase; defines critical success factors; establishes and manages the project warranty period.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 9 years professional project management experience, which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions. Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions. Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change and demonstration of a solid understanding of end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies strongly preferred.
- Masters in Project Mgt preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Exceptional Change Management expertise
- Experience leading end to end Analytics projects
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $113,840 to $215,158.
