Position: Mobile Crisis Responder
FLSA Status: Part-time Hourly
Salary: Direct $18.00/hr on-call $6/hr weekdays ; $9/hr weekends & Holiday
Supervision: Crisis Service Director

Responsibilities
- Two Mobile Response Team members are paid to be on call at all times.
- If called to a mental health crisis in the community, they will respond in pairs or with law enforcement.
- Perform effectively within the MCR team.
- Represent Elevate in a professional manner.
- Timely complete related data entry, paperwork and notify supervisor when call complete.
- Be accessible by telephone and prepared to respond to calls during all scheduled shifts.
- Arrive at any client location within one hour of being called.
- Coordinate arrival with co-responder.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel and other interested parties.

In addition to meeting one of the above qualifications a responder must meet all the following requirements:
- Dependable transportation.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and provide a certified driving record if transporting clients or coworkers.
- Working telephone or means to accept dispatch calls.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Complete the required training.

- The ability to safely operate a motor vehicle to transport oneself, consumers, and program supplies as necessary.
- The physical ability to travel to assigned locations, stand, stoop, bend, reach, pull, push, lift, grasp, climb, talk, see, hear and perform basic and light home maintenance activities, and operate office equipment.
- Move and lift light objects up to 30 pounds such as mail, supplies, files, and equipment.
- Operating office equipment requiring continuous or repetitive hand/arm movements.
- The ability to remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time.
