Job Description:
- Strives for continuous software application improvement through establishing monitoring systems and working with building, maintaining, and administering continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Works with development, analytics, and operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly.
- Broad conversant knowledge of all technical and IT operations aspects of the business.
- Analyzes key issues in the system and drives work to find both short- and long-term solutions.
- Advises development team on best practices for reliable production software.
- Encourages and builds automated processes wherever possible.
- Aids in incident management and root cause analysis when needed.
- Understands the connection of testing, deployment, scaling, and system monitoring to various business KPIs.
- Monitors application performance and infrastructure costs to advise on and implement changes to support business needs.
- Comfortable with a variety of cloud deployment strategies.
- Works with cybersecurity analysts to harden systems against an ever-evolving threat landscape.
