Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available as a Bilingual Eligibility Field Representative. This position will be located in Coral Springs Florida. The Full Time schedule for this role will be Mon-Fri 11:00am-7:30pm.
Job Summary
The Eligibility Field Representative is that member of the Operations Team who appropriately interacts/ interviews referrals from the facility in a professional and business-like manner. The Eligibility Field Representative locates and delivers patient’s documents, applications messages, etc. to the correct agency or ElevatePFS site. Functions as the interface between ElevatePFS Clients and the State, Federal, County, Medical or Disability agencies to which we are applying. Conduct business in a manner that promotes the goals and objectives of ElevatePFS, while working with the client to a successful resolution of their applications.
Job Scope
Eligibility Field Representative will attempt to perform detailed in-house review, bedside and/or phone interviews to determine if patient is a viable candidate for State, Federal, County, Medical or Disability Assistance, and if so to assist the patient/guarantor with the application process for any Assistance type program. This assistance will include the necessary investigative, field, and administrative work needed to assist the patient in meeting eligibility requirements for Disability, Medicaid or other applicable County, Federal or State programs, if appropriate.
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current insurance coverage for vehicle in use
- Knowledge of the surrounding area roadways, ability to read maps and take direction
- Some college or comparable combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with MS Office suite and database programs.
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Substantive knowledge of the Medical Assistance application process, including an understanding of the various aspects of eligibility analysis and the sequential evaluation process.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
- Ability to manage a caseload and to organize work in a systematic and efficient fashion.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
