Our Moriah Early Childhood Center family is looking to add warm and dynamic early childhood educators who are inspired by the curiosity and wonder of children. Responsibilities include:
- Working within a team of educators
- Ability to listen to and observe children
- Co-create and plan invitations that support children as they explore and discover
- Creating and maintaining emotionally-responsive partnerships with children and parents
- Documenting learning and making visible the ways in which children make sense of the world
- Maintaining a nurturing classroom environment.
- Upholding school policies and maintaining confidentiality
Skills include:
- Experience, preferred, as an early childhood educator
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with children, colleagues and families
- Friendly and reliable
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
