THE ROLE
Seeking coaches/peer mentors to work up to 4 days a week at a school site in the Hemet Unified School District. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engage students in SEL & PE curriculum
- Certify mandatory instructional minutes required for the program
- Demonstrate, engage, and participate in games with students
- Lead groups of students in activities while implementing strong behavior management skills on the field
- Act as a positive and inspiring role model
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service for all students and school staff
- Follow COVID 19 protocols outlined by the school
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching or child development strongly preferred
- 18 years and older
- Reliable transportation
- Submitting finger print based background check
- Covid-19 Vaccine (2 weeks from 2nd dose) or Weekly Covid-19 Testing
- Authorized to work in the US
