Job Posting for Director of Family Networks Services at Eliot Community Human Services
Eliot's Family Networks Service is currently seeking a Director to oversee the network provider service delivery and development. The Director is also responsible for identifying and developing new programs/services to facilitate and support children and families. They are also required to work collaboratively with the Area Resource Coordinator to co-facilitate training and support DCF staff with all initial roll outs of policies and initiatives. The Ideal candidate will have three years clinical/child welfare experience, including experience in permanency planning in a child welfare setting and knowledge of system of care practices. At least two years supervisory experience within child welfare systems and setting.
Our Social Services Division includes short term community based assessment programs and group homes for children (birth to 12 years old) and adolescents (13 to 21 years old). The programs are contracted with the Department of Children and Families and provide a safe, structured and respectful environment for children and youth to thrive, change and grow by focusing on treatment, skill building and permanency.
Responsibilities:
Lead Performance Management Processes.
Oversee network provider service delivery and development.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, discipline and evaluate assigned Family Networks Service staff.
Manage program budget and monitor expenditures in coordination with DCF and the Agency.
Manage relationships with existing network providers, community resources, and relevant state agencies.
Identify and develop new programs/services to facilitate and support children and families.
Work collaboratively with the Area Resource Coordinator to co-facilitate training and support DCF staff with all initial roll outs of policies and initiatives.
Develop and facilitate public forums, summits and training for service providers to establish consistent, quality service delivery to DCF families and promote cooperation among community and network providers.
Collaborate with other Diversions of Services (DMH, DDS, and DYS) to ensure children’s movement from one agency to another is appropriate and seamless and assists in bridging children and adult services.
Conduct outreach and education to school personnel and crisis team, both in home and community.
Maintain collaborative relationship with Specialized Foster Care and residential programs in the area.
Ensure that clients are receiving the contractual obligations of Agency’s Support and Stabilization, Foster Care, Caring Together services and placements.Serve as a member of the team that identifies and navigates the appropriate levels in systems of care for clients involved in placement.
Manage the referral process for children and families involved with services, evaluations or placements.
Work in partnership with DCF on all aspects of service delivery and performance management.
Coordinate and conduct meetings with DCF and Eliot staff and network providers.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field and minimum three years clinical/child welfare experience, including experience in permanency planning in a child welfare setting and knowledge of system of care practices. Clinical license preferred. At least two years supervisory experience within child welfare systems and setting. Experience in permanency planning in a child welfare setting and knowledge of system of care practices. Ability to work within a team to access services and resources for children, youth and families. Experience working with mental health systems and the court system.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
