What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAP Compliance Nurse position at Eliot Community Human Services?
Eliot's Division of Children, Youth and Family is seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Services. This Division supports children referred by the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Youth Services. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing systems of care for children, youth, and families, As well as a history of implementing and monitoring evidence-based treatment through trauma-informed care and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all medication systems and policies.
- Serve as a Medication Administration Program (MAP) trainer for the division.
- Train and coach staff in MAP policies and testing.
- Collaborate with youths’ PCP to ensure effective delivery of existing and new medical concerns and care.
- Provide oversight of MAP implementation and compliance to each assigned program.
- Manage training and testing enrollment for all staff.
- Manage MAP training records.
- Consult with and support the program relative to youth with high medical needs.
- Serve as the liaison to the state’s MAP monitors and local pharmacies to ensure compliance with protocol and medication.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Must have good clinical documentation skills and be able to meet deadlines.
- Must be organized with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and effective, solution-focused, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with staff, co-workers, and supervisor.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.
Schedule: TBD (20/hrs a week)

Required- Bachelors or better in Nursing
