Job description
Elite Home Warranty, a leading provider of home warranties, is looking for a Claims Concierge Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Concierge Specialist, you will play a key role in helping our customers with their home repair needs, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical issues. While previous experience in home warranties is preferred, we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic, creative thinking skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
Responsibilities:
Utilize our proprietary software and algorithm to review and validate claim and project management data and provide compliant and customer-friendly resolutions.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer claims.
Develop a thorough understanding of Elite Home Warranty's Home Warranty Agreement.
Address sensitive and complex customer situations with professionalism and empathy.
Take on an average of 50-60 inbound and outbound calls per day.
Demonstrate initiative and independence in consistently delivering high-quality claim resolutions.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and goal orientation.
Genuine character with the willingness to truly help consumers with their needs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Proficient phone etiquette and active listening skills.
Preferred: 1 years of previous home warranty experience.
Preferred: 1 years of call center escalation experience.
This is a full-time position with a pay range of $11.00 - $13.00 per hour, and benefits including paid time off. The role is based in our Brooklyn, NY call center, and requires reliable commuting or relocation to the area. Physical Setting:
This position will be based in our call center, and you will be working on an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts are also available. Our Claims Concierge Specialist role offers two shift options: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Experience:
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 1 year of experience working in a call center and 1 year of experience in home warranty. You should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work independently.
