We are seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team! In this strategic role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive and productive work environment for employees across eight offices across New Jersey and our specialized practices in Cardio Pulmonary, Physical Therapy, and Sleep Diagnostics. You will be responsible for a wide range of employee relations tasks, ensuring a smooth employee experience, PTO requests, Policy creation, and education. This Role will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Operations Manager, Local Supervisors, and administrators to address employee relations concerns, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct comprehensive employee relations investigations, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance and interpretation of company policies and procedures to employees and managers.
- Advise leadership on best practices for employee engagement, retention, and dispute resolution.
- Lead recruitment efforts of medical staff and personnel.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives designed to improve employee morale and satisfaction.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires across all locations.
- Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a focus on employee relations.
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (a plus).
- Must have reliable form of transportation
