What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT ALL LEVELS position at Elk County?
Elk County Ems is currently seeking applications for both full time and part time positions with our EMS Department. Elk County EMS moved into a new facility located at 809 E Elk in Howard, KS., in March of 2022. Elk County EMS is seeking applicants with a current EMT or higher certification. Elk County has recently changed its pay scale to include3 24 hour pay per each 24 hour shift worked, that is without any call back or residency requirements. Elk County is and EOE with benefits to include KPERS and fully paid single health insurance with other insurance options available with costs for family coverage based on family size. EMS does offer continuing educations hours on sit. Pay is based on experience and certification level of applicant. Beginning at $12.00 per hour for EMT and $15.00 per hour for a Paramedic.
