Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse worker’s core function is to supply Production with raw materials and ingredients, and to fulfill customer orders with finished goods. The Warehouse Worker must possess the desire and ability to receive, count, and move product quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate for this role is a team player who excels working in a fast-paced environment and pays attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate forklift and pallet jack

• Receiving and Shipping (load/unload trucks)

• Build (pick) customer orders

• Manage inventory and keep warehouse organized

• Stock product in designated bin locations

• Maintain appropriate forms and records

• Able to help in other workgroups, as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills and Experience

• Must be able to read load sheets, pick slips, product labels, and follow written instructions

• Numerical ability is required (counting inventory, adding cases)

• Must have order pulling experience as well as be detail-oriented, precise, and accurate

• Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision and perform multiple tasks

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving/inventory control

• Experience with forklifts and electric pallet jacks (certified preferred)

• Ability to move up to 50 pounds repeatedly

• Willing to work nights/weekends/holidays

• Must be able to work in a cool and refrigerated environment for extended periods of time

• Must be able to uphold all safety standards

Experience, Education and Certifications

• Prior warehouse experience, preferred

• Prior warehouse experience in a food processing / manufacturing facility preferred

• Ability to drive non-CDL box truck for local deliveries, preferred; up to 20 hours per week

• Must possess High School diploma or GED

• Ability to pass a Forklift Certification Course within three (3) months of hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
