SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator – SSO is responsible for installing, configuring, and administering various systems and applications across the SolutionHealth IT environment, including various enterprise single sign-on application(s) and supporting technology components. This important position will be instrumental to improving the efficiency of clinical and business users across the organization and enhancing the security and privacy of multiple enterprise applications.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages and maintains enterprise single sign-on application(s) and all supporting technology components.
• Administers enterprise single sign-on applications in a manner that promotes improved security and improved end-user efficiency.
• Monitors system and application performance and integrity and looks for opportunities to gain end-user or system efficiency through automation, improved use of single sign-on applications, or improved processes.
• Troubleshoot issues related to assigned systems and authentication software and hardware.
• Creates and troubleshoots application deployment packages to distribute and upgrade required software components across workstations.
• Acts as a project leader to implement new/additional single sign-on functionality across various applications and to deploy single sign-on to additional departments and locations.
• Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with vendors and partners to ensure assigned systems and applications operate reliably throughout their designated lifecycle.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of technical IT experience supporting and managing desktops, servers, applications, and/or systems in an enterprise IT environment.
• Experience with Imprivata, Healthcast, or other similar enterprise single sign-on applications strongly preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Cisco Duo, ADFS, Group Policy, SCCM, and/or other similar IT technologies preferred.
• One or more IT industry standard certifications from Imprivata, Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, etc. preferred.
• Working knowledge of scripting for the purpose of systems management and automation.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external).
• Ability to provide occasional on-call and off-hours operational support when necessary.

OTHER INFORMATION:

This “hybrid” position includes a mix of remote on onsite work including some travel between supported locations in the Nashua and Manchester NH area.
