Position Summary
A Surveillance Lead Agent reports directly to the Surveillance Supervisor. The incumbent oversees and is responsible for shift related administrative functions in the Surveillance Department where audio and video equipment is used to observe and report illegal activity and non-compliance of regulations, policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of and ensure that all Surveillance personnel adhere to Surveillance Policy and Procedures as well surveillance regulations for proper security in accordance with the KHRC, the federal government and State of Kentucky.
- Assist in training and development programs for staff
- Ensure administrative functions of the Surveillance shifts are maintained.
- Review, investigate and report on any illegal activities.
- Maintain and use video/audio surveillance equipment to monitor property activities using multiple monitors.
- Maintain surveillance over monetary transactions and stations.
- Document monetary transactions for procedural inconsistencies.
- Prepare and maintain an official log of departmental activities.
- Maintain radio contact with security personnel, casino managers and other surveillance personnel as assigned.
- Work within and adhere to and contribute to an established operational chain of command.
- Investigate and compile reports of incidents for future documentation.
- Evaluate existing gaming policies, procedures and systems to make improvement recommendations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Follow instructions.

- Draft written reports and other documentation; create and convey quality Surveillance reports to the appropriate areas.
- Oversight of agents on assigned shift, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and giving agents a point of contact and chain of command.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have three (1) years experience as a Surveillance Officer or Gaming Supervisor.
- Familiar with surveillance methods and procedures preferred.
Licensing & Certification:
- Obtain and maintain a valid license through the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission
Computer Equipment, Software, Machinery:
- Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Requires the ability to sit, talk and repetitively use hands 51-100% of the time.
- Must have eyesight correctable to 20/20 and have no color blindness.
- Requires the ability to hear and stand 25-50% of the time.
- Requires the ability to balance/climb, bend over, crawl, crouch/stoop, drive, kneel, reach overhead, turn/twist and walk 1-24% of the time.
- Requires the ability to push/pull, carry, lift and transfer/slide 1-50 lbs. 1-24% of the time.
Essential Mental Demands:
