Saturday (9am-1pm)
Dayshift (9am-6pm)
Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Saturday 9am-1pm
CLOSED on Sundays and major holidays
Minimum Requirements:
* Must be 18 years of age
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* WV registered pharmacy technician with national certification (PTCB, ExCPT, etc)
* Effective communication skills
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Valid driver’s license and good driving record
* Ability to operate cash register
* Computer literate with strong math skills
* Ability to learn and comply with all state and federal regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc) and professional standards/ethical principles
Desired Requirements:
*Previous retail pharmacy experience
*PioneerRx experience preferred
*Third party claim processing experience
Physical Demands:
* Standing/walking for an extended period of time
* Near vision, with extended periods of computer screen work
* Dexterity, with the ability to handle small objects
* Bending/squatting/leaning
* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, up to 4 feet
* Ability to move quickly from one task to another, when required

Job Duties:
* In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy
* Delivers a personal and positive customer experience
* Responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain and maintain patient and drug information in prescription processing
* Develops strong and valuable relationships with customers
* Performs duties assigned by the pharmacist
* Reports errors immediately to the pharmacist
* Responsible and accountable for registering all sales in cash register, collects and handles currency and credit cards
* Assists customers with OTC purchases
* Handles phone calls that do not require a pharmacist
* Processes third party claims for prescription services
* Assists the pharmacist with inventory management
* Assists with exterior and interior maintenance of the pharmacy by ensuring stocking of supplies and cleaning
* Delivers prescriptions and OTC items to customers in the delivery area, as assigned
