[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The data professional is to manage the data entry, gathering and reporting functions of the senior services department. The Data Specialist will be the face of the organization for all applicants and visitors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collecting all required documents to ensure eligibility
Collecting and reporting outcome documentation/verifications
Inputting data to complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
Inputting data into the STARS database required by Department For The Aging
Maintaining a well-organized and professional work environment
Proficient follow- up on results.
Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
Secures information by completing data base backups.
Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
Performs information and referral services
Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
Conserves management’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications: –
Must have a high school diploma along with at least 2 years of administrative and data driven work experience.
Excellent computer skills, proficiency in database management.
Good verbal and written communications skills and excellent computer skills a must.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary details: $40,000 annually
