Description
- Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders, serve as primary customer contact for all program-related matters
- Manage every facet the program, including multiple interconnected custom hardware and software development projects from initial concept phases through closure or post-closure monitoring phases
- Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and external cross-functional and remote project teams
- Establish plans of action with details on what work is to be done, by whom, when, and what means or resources will be used
- Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects or general program requirements on time, within scope and within budget
- Develop program scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Develop detailed execution plans to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in program scope, resources, or schedule/cost targets
- Measure program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation and reporting as required
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline from an accredited institution; or MBA from accredited institution with relevant work experience in technical industry
- Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in program or senior project management of hardware or software developments
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in customer-facing program/project management role
- Strong program management background with demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects
- Well-rounded technical understanding of hardware and software development, strong technical aptitude, must be capable of making strategic technical decisions
- Experience in high-level planning and strategic thinking, ability to understand business goals
- Strong leadership skills, experience managing people directly or indirectly
- Ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate risks
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment with enterprise customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated experience in direct customer communication
- Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking, and handling ambiguity or competing priorities
- Solid presentation/reporting skills to internal senior executive-level audience and customers
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, Salesforce, SAP
- PMP, CSM or similar certification is a plus
