THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

• Help design and specify electrical controls for assembly lines including and not limited to schematics and programming, but also implementation of changes.
• Document and update PLC programs and wiring schematics for all of plant equipment.
• Provide support to manufacturing engineers and maintenance technicians for projects and preventive maintenance.
• Provide support directly or by consulting with all departments within the company regarding electrical and electrically related topics.
• Work with outside equipment suppliers and vendors to effectively communicate company standards and practices.
• Investigate and research new developments in the electronic / electrical technology fields, and provide interface back to the organization of potential applications.
  

QUALIFICATIONS: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

• 2-year degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology desired.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in controls and programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and Ethernet.
• Basic fabrication skills, industrial wiring, vision system, and error proofs desired.
