The Role You Will Play: Product Engineering Manager
- Communicating and working with customers and internal product managers as well as development engineering to understand product requirements and performance specifications and support that activity as a main customer interface and support to manufacturing.
- Support production tooling, manufacturing processes, qualification testing and assist during the transfer to volume production sites
- Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of engineering tasks of engineers within the group
- Ensuring products meet cost targets that align with the business P&L
- Overseeing and mentoring the product engineering team, providing needed training and work with team members to grow within the organization
- Coordinating with peers and other engineering managers within the organization to share best practices and continuous improvement activities
Background Profile: Product Engineering Manager
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline or higher degree
- 10 years of experience in Engineering Management or Project Management
- Experience with high-speed Cu interconnects a plus.
- Strong facilitation and team-building skills; the ability to integrate the needs & skills of many functional disciplines to achieve a positive outcome
- Attention to detail, while maintaining perspective on top-level goals
- Ability to prioritize work to meet objectives and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
