Warehouse Supervisor Details:
- Trains new employees on equipment operations, shipping/receiving loading, and other warehouse responsibilities.
- Monitors and evaluates employee performance and conducting performance evaluations.
- Handles and documents personnel issues (conduct performance, vacation request, attendance tracking) and provides coaching, counseling, and discipline to resolve problems.
- Supervises and ensures efficient unloading/loading of delivery trucks/vehicles
- Supports, and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs and legality.
- Communicates Safety, Quality, and Food Safety policies to all employees. Ensures such policies are applied by all employees.
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in warehouse work preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
