What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Associate position at elysewalker?
Position Objective
Under the leadership and guidance of the Stock Manager, the Stock Lead is responsible for overseeing all back of the house and front of the house operational functions, i.e., processing deliveries of inbound/outbound stock transfers, handling all aspects of the inventory including, but not limited to, quality control, organization, consignment business, negative on hands, shipments, supply management and transfers.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Leverage company tools and resources to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of inventory protocols, receiving, (inbound/outbound), negative on hands, consignment management, supply management, etc.
- Forward thinking to anticipate inventory movements.
- Strong understanding of inventory reporting tools.
- Responsible for product quality control & stock room organization.
- Ensure effective communication between store manager & other team members.
- Partner with stock manager to ensure all duties are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Act as a team player
- Ensure all functions of the store are maintained to support a safe and hazard free environment.
- Lead in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocols/policies, procedures, and all related processes inclusive of paperwork.
- Identify inventory concerns and partner with store management to support goals.
- Lead physical inventory in partnership with Store and Inventory Manager.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service to each and all individuals in the store when present on the floor.
Required Skills
- 1-3 years’ prior work experience in a stock or inventory management role (associate)
- Self-starter, strong follow up and attention to detail
- Independent work ethic, time management skills.
