What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer position at EMAG?

Job Description

Plans and coordinates training for our customers onsite at EMAG, as well as customer sites

Typical Duties:

  • Conducting customer training, workshops and seminars in our demonstration and technology center in Salach as well as on-site at our customers
  • The main focus here is the area "Grinding and Ball Track Machining and Operation and Programming FANUC and SIEMENS"
  • Development and implementation of standards in teaching methods, training materials, document and knowledge management
  • Continuous development of seminar and training content, training courses and teaching material

Essential Function:

  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer

Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:

(Included but not be limited to the preparation of the following)

  • Technician or master with skilled worker training in metal cutting (turning, milling, grinding, gear cutting, etc.)
  • Practical experience in the field of education and adult education and knowledge transfer desirable
  • Very good organizational and perfect presentation and presentation skills with strong communication skills
  • High level of service and service orientation as well as friendly and competent behavior and behavior towards our customers and employees
  • Strategic and result-oriented thinking as well as a responsible and flexible way of working
  • Very good command of spoken and written English and safe handling of MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility, resilience and driving license required

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Overtime may be necessary as work load’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to and visit a Client’s office, production facility or job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
  • May be assigned to work at a Client’s office, facility or site for an extended period of time. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
