Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and patching to ensure smooth application of paint
- Select the appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve desired color
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection
- Calculate costs and negotiate prices for materials
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure tools are in good condition
Skills:
- Proficiency in concrete finishing, masonry, and stucco work
- Ability to maintain, renovate, and build structures
- Knowledge of color theory for proper color selection
- Experience with remodeling projects
- Familiarity with power tools for preparation and application
- Welding skills for metal surfaces
