Salary:
$60,000 (with less than 2 years' experience)
$62,000 (with 2 years or more experience)
Description:
The Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) Supervisor manages the daily operations of a Dependency Case Manager (DCM) unit. The CWCM Supervisor identifies and assesses client and family needs with the ultimate goal of permanency; supervises DCMs; and coordinates service delivery to meet client needs, program goals and contract objectives. The service delivery team may include (besides the Case Manager), therapist, foster parents, primary caregiver, guardian ad litem and other appropriate professionals. The CWCM Supervisor will focus on the safety and permanency of the children and attainment of specific performance standards and outcomes.
What You Will Need:*
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related area of study, required
- Master’s degree in a social work or related area of study, preferred
- Related degrees include: anthropology, behavioral science, child development, child protection, cognitive science, community organization & advocacy, counseling, criminal justice, criminology, economics, education, family development, healthcare, human development, human services, juvenile justice, law & protection, marriage and family therapy, mental health, nursing, philosophy, psychology, public administration, public health, sociology, and special education. Degree programs deemed to be similar may also qualify.
- State of Florida Child Welfare Certification (CWCM), required
- At least two years of experience working in human services
