What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Vaccination Coordinator - COVID-19 Test & Vaccination Site position at Embry Health?
At Embry Health, we strive to increase access to healthcare across the state of Arizona. We are a multi-site operation with drive-thru testing sites located throughout Maricopa, Pinal, Cochise, and Mohave Counties. The Field Unit has primarily focused on COVID-19 testing, however, they are expanding to provide a variety of primary care related services including vaccinations, med checks, refills, and other services. Designed to increase access to medical services during the pandemic, especially for those who are unable to go into a traditional clinic setting. Test/clinic sites operate a variety of hours with many being open 24/7. Locations of clinic sites cover diverse locations such as parking lots, long term temporary structures, community college locations.
We are seeking full-time & part-time Vaccine Coordinators for immediate hire for all of our test site locations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer flu vaccinations while complying with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations.
- Monitor participants during the vaccination process and manage adverse reactions if necessary.
- Provide Excellent customer service while putting participants at ease.
- Receive all clinic supplies and documentation in a prompt and timely manner.
- Perform clinic set up and clean up.
- Administrative and clerical duties are necessary.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Required to work outside
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Current RN, LPN or LVN license in the state administering flu vaccinations.
- Proficient taking blood pressure.
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- Knowledge of HIPPA, OSHA and federal/state/local laws and regulations
- Must be willing & able to receive and return clinic supplies.
- Must be at least 18 or older
Experience:
- 1 year+ experience administering vaccinations.
- Vaccine or Flu Clinic experience a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a face-paced environment.
- Basic tablet and computer skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.

- Depends on level of experience
