SUMMARY
The Account Specialist is responsible for developing and sustaining relationships that will result in sales and profits with clients or potential clients in each of the Company’s three markets, Construction, Critical Infrastructure Personnel, Service & Repair. The individual will work with the VP of Operations and other service and project managers to fully realize the sales potential within each existing or developing account. This person will also be responsible for developing and presenting the Company’s presentations and providing clients with information about the Company’s full scope of services in each marketplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the administrative and customer service functions of a Service Department.
- Maintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers, and vendors.
- Maintain appropriate staffing level and workload distribution to meet customer and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend policy changes as needed.
- Responsible for the efficient operation of a Service Department and expense control.
- Analyze service productivity and recommend changes to improve customer service and profitability.
- Maintain high quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.
- Maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts.
- Review and approve all replacement requests.
- Organize, coordinate, and schedule all scheduled maintenance, replacement and Customer service work order.
- Assist or assign assistance for technician on accounts to ensure work quality.
- On-call 24/7 for emergency purposes.
- Business Development for small/medium-size facility maintenance and service.
- Seek out and research prospective clients and/or projects through various methods including contacting Chief Engineer, Property Managers, Asset Managers, etc. to introduce yourself and develop relationships; phone solicitation, personnel visits, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Establishment and maintenance of relationships with prospective clients.
- Managing through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume, and profitability of clients in market areas.
- Preparing and delivering client presentations.
- Developing, writing, and reviewing client proposal documentation including financial sections using Company’s pricing procedures.
- Developing sales at defined margin levels.
- Interacting in a professional manner with other Dyna LA departments (Operations, KDC Systems, Construction, Estimating, etc.)
- Other duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer or executive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of self-generated direct sales experience. Equivalent demonstrated selling experience may also be considered in lieu of degree. Experience in the electrical industry preferred but not required if candidate has proven success in generating new business in the industries they serve.

Physical Demands
Physical demands of this job range from working in a traditional business office (i.e., sitting, talking, using a computer, etc., in an environmentally controlled environment) to a variety of construction worksites requiring walking on rugged or uneven terrain, climbing, kneeling, bending. Worksites could be located underground in tunnels or in high-rise construction.
May frequently drive or fly to project locations throughout southern California and regional states as well as periodically fly to project sites or required meetings.
