SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Manager is a supervisory role that provides crucial support to the CFO and Controller. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable processes, ensuring that all disbursements are made in strict compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate must possess strong numerical skills, be proficient in computing, classifying, and accurately recording financial data, and demonstrate a solid understanding of job cost coding within a high-volume invoice environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Enter invoices into accounting software, obtain related approval, and pay invoices
- Match vendor invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips when applicable
- Manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable
- Organize and maintain A/P records
- Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
- Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information
- Assist with audits, both internal and external, by handling all accounts payable related requests.
- Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs
- Obtain vendor statements and reconcile open payables
- Perform additional assignments as required by the company or as directed by management
- Able to work 40 hours per week in our El Cajon office, and more as required
QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 5 years working in a management role.
- Previous Accounting experience
- Working knowledge of the construction industry
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Must have experience with accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various departments and outside vendors.

Compensation Range: $64,000-$75,000
The compensation range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
