Job Title : Day Porter / Janitorial
Shift Schedule : Wednesday - Sunday, 10 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform and document daily inspections of the building's interior and exterior spaces
- Perform general janitorial duties
- Trash collection and disposal
- Restroom cleaning & stocking
- Mopping / buffing of hard service floors
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Daily disinfection of common touch points
- Stock and maintain inventory of supplies and consumables
- Spot cleaning as required
- Provide cleaning to clinical areas following all related policies and procedures
- Assist with general building repairs (ie : change light bulbs, restock consumables)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- 2-4 Years minimum experience in janitorial services
- Potential candidate would preferably have background cleaning in a clinical / healthcare environment.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff
- Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines, i.e., vacuums, floor scrubbers / buffers, etc., as well as use common hand tools
