Job Summary
Manage and oversee the design and project management team for fire protection systems for all types of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise all project managers. Oversee the design for all sprinkler jobs. Responsible for support and safety of the project management team. Maintain relationships with existing customers. Review and ensure code compliance. Ensure job costs are updated and accurate. Complete hydraulic calculations. During working hours, travel to various unanticipated project sites (approximately) three times per week for field verification of designs. Visits to these locations will be no longer than a few hours in duration. All sites will be within 100 miles of Norcross, GA.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Civil Engineering Technology, Fire Protection Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
Must have professional experience as follows:
- 4 years of experience in project management related to fire sprinkler systems.
- 3 years of experience with fire sprinkler design.
- 3 years of experience using HydraCAD software.
OSHA 10 Certification required.
