Fast growing regional Broadline Foodservice Distributor seeking to hire energetic, service oriented individual for an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist position. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the Company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
Providing administrative support. Meeting customer expectations. Assisting operations manager and supervisors. Learning about products, production and services.
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist must possess the following skills:

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and accounting support to managers, supervisor and accounting department.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, setting up for meetings, scheduling appointments and reordering supplies.
- Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
- Maintain Qualification files for Transportation Department
- Assist in onboarding new employees
- Using computers to generate reports, write letters, and conduct research.
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
- Scanning documents
- Serves as a backup where is needed.
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Requirements:
- Prior administrative experience.
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
Work days are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM however, times are varying depending on the needs of the Company.
The company’s average workweek is 40 hours. However, the actual hours may vary during the week according to the requirements of management and our customers’ needs.
