Emerg N See Clinical Labs is an independent Reference Lab that is looking for a General Laboratory Supervisor to join our team! Interested? Then you should keep reading:

The role you'll play:

You'll be responsible for overseeing the staff in charge of testing operations, which includes scheduling, managing budget, making sure testing personnel is following CLIA, CAP, State, and Government testing standards, etc.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Run daily testing
• Perform instrument maintenance and method troubleshooting
• Ensure quick turn-around times

Basic Preferred Profile:

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related
• ASCP/AMT Certification
• Master’s degree preferred or higher
• Nevada General Supervisor or a General Supervisor with a Specialty License
• 5 years' experience working in a clinical lab
• Experience in high complexity molecular testing
• Prior experience with COVID testing and/or overseeing COVID testing operations preferred
• 4 years of Supervisory Experience
• Train and lead the technicians and technologists
• Ensure all compliance, including but not limited to; (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) CLIA, (College of American Pathologists) CAP, any/all Nevada State compliance
• Experience in high complexity molecular testing

As a new laboratory, you will also help to train staff and work with our Lab Director to develop and implement operating procedures. Our lab will perform molecular testing, including COVID-19, RPP, UTI, and many other diverse tests!

Salary and Benefits:

$80,000.00 to 95,000 STARTING depending on experience.
