Reporting to the Global VP of Supply Chain, this role is responsible for all supply chain activities at the site – including Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, Procurement, Warehousing, and Logistics. This role will orchestrate the flow of materials through the site - through solid line reporting, dotted line reporting, or stakeholder influence.

General Responsibilities:
- This role is an active member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT).
- Works with other members of Global Supply Chain and site leadership to develop strategic plans for the site.
- Supply Chain subject-matter-expert and key point-of-contact for audits, inspections, and external visits to the site.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant GXP, Environmental, Safety, Financial (including Sarbanes-Oxley), and other regulatory requirements.
- Develops operational plans in collaboration with other site management to ensure alignment of SOP, site and cross-department goals and establishment of effective project plans and resource allocation.
- Develops and manages annual cost center budgets. Prioritizes and justifies relevant capital expenditures.
- This role is responsible for all supply chain activities at the site – including Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, Inventory Management, Procurement, Warehousing, and Logistics.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and Facilities Maintenance to assure the complete scope of Supply Chain activities remains connected with other tangential business operations and compliant with Quality requirements.
- Lead Site Supply Planning activities as part of the S&OP process.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions (process flow diagrams and instructional guides).
- Develop and monitor KPI’s to ensure effective site operations.
- Manages risk and loss prevention.
- Increases quality awareness and “Right First Time”. Support implementation of effective quality systems.
- Optimizes management and use of company material, human and other resources by increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
- Builds a culture that achieves employee engagement, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, customer service, productive work relations, and sound communications
- Manages and empowers staff by building a culture that attracts, sustains and motivates a diverse staff of top-quality people devoted to our core values.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Education:
- Incumbent must possess at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a supportive course of study with augmenting experience to support this matrixed role. Degrees in Supply Chain or Operations Management along with related experience from the armed services is a plus.
- APICS/CPM Certification desired.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of demonstrated Supply Chain Management experience.
- A progressive increase in role of Management responsibility within the Supply Chain Organization.
- Extensive knowledge of cGMP and Global Regulatory requirements.
- Prior Biopharmaceutical or Medical Device experience required.
- Experience with Global Trade preferred
- The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication abilities. Must be able to present complex theoretical concepts and empirical performance data effectively in both oral and written formats, for audiences ranging from senior executives through entry level employees.
- Must exhibit strong leadership skills, both with subordinates and peers, with emphasis on relationship development and implementation of company culture improvement initiatives.
- This individual should be a person of unquestionable integrity and a team player who has shown the ability and track record of winning the confidence and trust of colleagues and the respect of the broader business community.
- Excellent Analytical skills with a high attention to detail required.
- Ability to effectively maintain a culture of continuous improvement using Operational Excellence practices and processes is essential.
- Extensive experience with desktop software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- SAP experience preferred.
