Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will support the development of a daily production build schedule that meets the company’s safety, quality, delivery and inventory objectives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Supports company quality policy to achieve company objectives : Responds timely, understands the impact and works to minimize the negative impact of quality redlights, production, and shipping holds Begins to lead production line recovery teams by managing material streams for raw components, subassemblies, and finished goods
- Uses independent judgment commensurate with experience to support assigned production line : Reviews and ensures accuracy of the daily production signal to the manufacturing floor in order to meet the company's service level objectives : Resolves production issues in a timely fashion Monitors material availability and communicates as appropriate to procurement and production Analyzes delays and interruptions, and recommends adjustments to the production schedule to meet deadlines Communicates production delays with internal customer (Master Scheduling) May coordinate daily meetings for product group / production line Participates in global calls as needed Analyzes and responds to service level & inventory metrics and provides recommendations for continuous improvements Begins to lead New Product Development (NPD), Discontinuance and Rosemount Transfer Process (RTP) Programs for P&IC checklist responsibilities Reviews and approves Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
Ensure bill of material (BOM) and assembly part numbers are set up or obsoleted accurately in business system.
- Supports business system upgrades, patches and site migrations using global standards. May be responsible for manufacturing test requirements.
- Begins to participate in cross-functional project improvements. May participate in Kaizen events and lean process improvements
