Responsibilities
- General Construction Tasks: Assist with loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools to contribute to the progress of bridge construction projects.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with site supervisors and construction staff to ensure the success of each project, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices, bringing forward ideas and suggestions for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic construction environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and working in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math and measurement skills, along with the ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
