Job Overview
We are seeking a TEMP to join our team by the end of August to fill a maternity position. The ideal candidate would be able to fill the position Monday - Friday from September 1 through the end of year.
As the front desk face of Emmy's Barking Lot, this candidate is needed to assist the clients as they pick up their dogs from daycare and grooming. The position could be available as soon as next week, but we expect our current employee to stay on until September. When our current employee takes her maternity leave, we will need this temp hire to take on part time hours: 2pm-7pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and assist with their dog's pickup.
- Track payments and schedules of all clients.
- Navigate multiple clients picking up their dogs at the same time, keeping the place safe and clients happy.
- Assist grooming department with the intake & payments of their customers.
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
- Keep lobby area clean and inviting.
- Support management team with administrative tasks as required.
- Responding to client emails.
Skills
- Relevant administration experience is REQUIRED
- Professional dog care experience preferred but a love for dog is a MUST
- A happy, cheerful demeanor. Ready to talk to anyone!
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
