Motion Graphics Animator/Editor

Working collaboratively with other members of the Video Production team and under the direction of the Manager, Video Production, the Motion Graphics Animator/Editor is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, developing, building, and delivering high quality, on brand videos and motion graphics for eMoney Advisor’s Branded Marketing product and other creative/marketing video and design initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Find new and innovation opportunities to translate storyboards into engaging visual experiences.
• Collaborate among animators/designers, initiating brainstorming sessions and generating creative concepts to elevate the quality of the motion graphic animation and styling in eMoney’s video products
• Take ownership of and execute projects, outlining the initial creative vision, creating storyboards, and executing design concepts
• Assist in the production of video shoots in-studio and on-site as necessary
• Edit raw video footage into video stories so that they clearly convey a compelling message and accomplish the video’s goals
• Create high impact graphics and compose 2D and 3D animation used for final production
• Assist in the selection of audio, graphics, colors, and animation, etc., taking initiative to make creative recommendations that accomplish the goals of the video
• Design and produce multimedia for use on websites, presentations, and events
• Stay current on the latest trends and techniques related to motion graphics, animation, and video media
• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files and archiving

Requirements

• BA/BA in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Interaction Design, or equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years in multimedia production with a specialized focus in motion graphics and video production required

• Thorough understanding of all phases of video production, motion graphics and animation
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under tight deadlines
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and creative story telling instincts
• Fundamental understanding of entire production process and strong post-production skills

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $78,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
