Job Description:
DEFINITION:
Under the supervision of the ultrasound supervisor, assists the radiologist and other physicians in achieving scans and images in order to achieve a diagnosis concerning patients receiving an ultrasound exam. Is able to provide patient care activities to include adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Responsible for the proper utilization of Radiology Information System as described in the RIS Policy and Procedures.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
Current registration with a National Accredited Registry (ARDMS).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year of experience preferred working in the performance of ultrasound
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience preferred working in the performance of ultrasound and must have current registration with a national accrediting organization (ARDMS).

Less than 1 year
