Role Description
We are looking for Sales Managers to develop our US Branches. The right person for the job is highly qualified. Great selling, organizational and problem-solving skills, with analytical thinking, are a must. The position requires strong sales techniques, math skills and solid knowledge of domestic and international geography. Excellent time management, while working well under pressure to meet deadlines in time sensitive environments is essential. Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to manage sales conversations and help foster a robust communicative environment with existing and potential clients. This is a full-time hybrid role. As Sales Manager your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining relationships with existing customers and achieving agreed sales targets. Additionally, you are expected to develop and present effective sales pitches highlighting the value of Emons services, as well as collaborate with the team to develop new strategies to improve revenue growth.
Requirements and qualifications
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Minimum 2-5 years of Sales Manager experience coupled with minimum 1-2 years of operation experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
· Knowledgeable about custom brokerage responsibilities/requirements.
· Negotiate rates with clients, agents, vendors, and carriers.
· Assist in the preparation of Request for Quote (RFQ) as required by existing customers or new business opportunities.
· Work closely with President, National Operation Manager and Regional Import and Export Managers plus Branch Managers of our Company to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
· Conduct meetings with Emons team and agents utilizing MS Teams platform.
· Maintain your own sales pipeline/target account list – implement own accounts.
· Excellent communication skills – ability to be an active listener.
· Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed sales goals.
· Strong organizational skills plus attention to details.
· Demonstrated ability to cooperate with a team for common goals.
· Proficiency with IT systems ITS/Nextgen and MS office package plus CRM systems.
· Availability to travel as needed.

· 2-5 years Sales Management experience / 1-2 years Supervisor/Team Lead Operations Management
· Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills
· Strong Microsoft office skills (including O365, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Minimum College Degree
