Empire National is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) to join our fleet in Fletcher, NC.
As a Team Driver, you and your partner will work together to safely and efficiently transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries and superior service.
Responsibilities :
- Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles as a team, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
- Transport goods over designated routes, maintaining safety and delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle's safe and reliable operation.
- Collaborate with your driving partner to effectively manage driving shifts.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members professionally.
- Drop and hook.
- Dedicated Lanes.
- Uphold all safety and traffic regulations.
Qualifications :
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Experience as a team driver is preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with a driving partner.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading as necessary.
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable.
Compensation :
- Up to 67cpm for each person in a team.
