About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner is a leadership and educator role, responsible for providing both client care and education to patients regarding regenerative medicine, hormone replacement and IV Vitamin Therapy.
Compensation: Base salary with aggressive commission structure in place to earn more. Full medical, dental, vision, 401K plan. In addition to generous employee discounts on services. Full training program, including travel to Florida HQ.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for understanding, identifying and offering therapies for disorders related to regenerative medicine/hormone related deficiencies. Formulate treatment plans, which include diagnosis, counseling and offering hormone replacement therapy treatments.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ medical history, current health status, and aesthetic concerns to determine suitability for injectable procedures.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals, preferences, and overall health. Consider factors such as dosage, injection sites, and potential risks.
- Injection Procedures: Perform injectable procedures, including but not limited to neurotoxin, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic enhancements. Administer injections safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Client Education: Educate clients on the benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of injectable treatments. Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- General supervision for diagnosis and treatment of all hormone related deficiencies and provide consultation and/or accept referrals by phone or other communication device, and on premises.
- Initiate referrals, as necessary, and maintain health records.
- Follow State guidelines, standards and protocols within the scope of practice of NP.
- Use of Pharmacy portal for ordering and keeping track of client prescriptions.
Requirements
The successful Mid Level Provider will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion/degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner program. The candidate will also maintain the required certification that allows the NP to work with the client populations and location settings associated with this position. Must maintain up-to-date licensure as an NP in the state of Maryland and have the ability to obtain DEA license, if requested. This position requires a clear background check.
- Must be able to work autonomously, but in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Must obtain and maintain BLS certification. ACLS training, and other required certification per specialty, e.g. PALS, to be determined by location.
- Ability to educate and inform clients about treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Demonstrate computer literacy, accurate and timely charting via Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Professional knowledge and understanding within the NP/PA scope of practice.
- Recommended 6 months on-the-job experience as a Mid-Level Provider to acquire, understand and effectively utilize knowledge of client-care role and responsibility.
- Recommended experience in regenerative medicine/hormone replacement therapy with ability to formulate treatment plans
