Service Technician

Service Technicians Needed on Long Island ASAP! - 20-25/hr.

Applicant must:

• Have working knowledge of Plumbing, electrical and basic computer skills.

• Be able to complete OSHA safety course.

• Be able to Travel daily to customers site.

• Have basic hand tools.

• Be able to operate digital multi meter.

• Have clean, valid driver's license.

• Be authorized to work in the United States or U.S. Citizenship.

• Be able to pass random drug testing/screening.

• Be able to interact professionally with customers

• Be able to lift up to 75 LBS.

• Document work performed.

• Maintain service vehicle and inventory within.

• Be able to receive tuberculosis test and hepatitis test.

Daily job requirements will include, but not limited to:

• Daily travel to customer site to perform preventative maintenance,

·Jinstallation, de-installation/removal of units being replaced, troubleshooting, and diagnostic repair on large, free-standing autoclaves.

• In-office work, which includes re-stocking van, installing steam generators on new stock units, testing of new units in testing area, winterizing and cleaning of units worked on, refurbishing units, cleaning and organizing of warehouse and shop materials.

• Desk work, which includes answering phones and email for parts desk and/or service dispatch desk, and providing tech support.

• Paperwork which include submitting service report(s) and PM records for days work, and submitting expense reports.

• Occasionally traveling to distant customer site(s) which require time spent away from home.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per year
