What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Associate position at Employment Plus of Willmar?
We are seeking an individual to provide excellent customer service while working with customers to determine and fill parts needs accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides excellent customer service to customers at the counter, phone customers and the service department
- Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories
- Processes in-store orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status
- Locates and obtains merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise
- Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and assisting with placing parts orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to department manager
- Assists with maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays
- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
- Demonstrates a good work ethic
- Employs good time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service
- Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups
- Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management
- Maintains current knowledge of brand/s and competitive products
- Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
- 1 years experience with parts sales preferred
- Experience connecting with customers and establishing rapport
- Able to maintain a professional image
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
